Helsinki is a city where urban life meets with nature

Finnair, Finland Convention Bureau and Helsinki Convention Bureau have the pleasure of inviting you to a fam trip to be held in Helsinki. Join us to explore the possibilities of the Finnish capital and discover what the city can offer to your future events.

Awarded with "City of Design" status by UNESCO, Helsinki is a modern city that offers functional design, unique gastronomy, and maritime appeal. The human-size city is filled with lively urban events all year round, and still, the peaceful archipelago and green forests are only a stone’s throw away.

Helsinki is also renowned as one of the most sustainable destinations globally, currently ranked 4th in the GDS Index. These are just some reasons why Helsinki is an attractive destination for business events.

Oodi is a venue for events, a house of reading, and a diverse urban experience. You’ll also see gems like the beautiful neo-classical Central Railway Station, and the Senate Square.

During the city tour, there will be various stops to visit impressive event venues and attractive hotels for business events, and you’ll also meet with selected local partners and suppliers. Please note that we’ll be walking most of the day, so please wear comfortable shoes.

Helsinki is the destination to combine modern, urban activities with nature. Did you know, that Finland has one of the largest archipelagos in the World? In Helsinki alone, there are more than 300 islands, one of them being a UNESCO World Heritage Site - Suomenlinna sea fortress. You can also find two large national parks just a short ride from the city center. The national parks offer a great selection of outdoor activities, such as e-bikes, hiking, forest yoga, canoeing, and snowshoeing… plenty to choose from depending on the season. In October, nature blooms in red and yellow autumnal colors, and it’s a perfect season to enjoy the clean and fresh air and feel the positive effects of nature on your well-being.

8.45 Lobby call and a short walk to an exciting RIB-safari. Before the adventure starts, we’ll visit the Old Market Hall dating from 1889.

During the about 2-hour cruise you’ll see the city from the sea perspective, as well as many of the more than 300 islands in the city. The excursion will end at a unique event venue, Ruusuniemi, located in the Vuosaari district. Experience the traditional Finnish sauna and enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by a private Chef.
