Haltia – The Finnish Nature Centre: Ecologically designed Finnish Nature Centre Haltia in Espoo offers inspiring event spaces in a building made entirely of wood. Beautifully located by Lake Nuuksion Pitkäjärvi in the Nuuksio National Park.
Hanasaari Hanaholmen: This modern, maritime-inspired conference venue is beautifully located on a small peninsula in Espoo, just a stone’s throw away from downtown Helsinki.
Hotel Rantapuisto is located in the seashore in a stunning natural environment in Helsinki. All meeting rooms have natural daylight and some come with seaview. The seaside sauna and hot tub offer wonderful views to the open sea.

Venues surrounded by the sea
Private islands
Once a base for storing and clearing mines, the small island of Lonna, is part of the Suomenlinna district in Helsinki archipelago. The atmospheric Mine Storehouses and the Guard House provide a variety of different possibilities for events during the summer season.
The Silverskär Islands (Silverskär and Klobben) in Åland offer groups exclusive use of an entire private island.
Island restaurants
Restaurant Saaristo’s white Art Nouveau style villa, built in 1899 on the Klippan island, is one of Helsinki’s most imposing and traditional restaurants in the summer.
Restaurant NJK: The villa-type restaurant on Valkosaari island, built in 1900, is among the best locations for festivities during the summer season. The tall, spacious Middle room is surrounded by bright covered verandas with large windows and a view towards the Helsinki Market Square.
Lighthouse islands
Most Finnish lighthouses have been automated but luckily not abandoned, with many now making ideal destinations for day trips and private events. Some of them also offer accommocation.
