The Barö opened its doors in June 2021. It is an ecologically built, high-class archipelago hotel in the Barösund region of Inkoo, in the heart of the world’s most magnificent archipelago. The diverse and unique archipelago of the Gulf of Finland, pure nature, the sea, old trees and local stories dating back to the Viking Age entices visitors from the very first moment. For conferences, the capacity is for up to 350 guests in theatre style and 270 guests in classroom setting. The banquet hall can be divided into smaller spaces with partition walls. In addition to this, the hotel has 11 conference rooms. The maximum capacity is nearly 800 guests.

Original Sokos Hotel Kimmel in Joensuu, at the shore of river Pielisjoki has gotten a new spark. The hotel, with 237 rooms, is located in Northern Karelia, area known for its hospitality, in Lakeland region. It offers now fully renovated spaces, hospitable service, delicious food and the buzz of the Karelian lifestyle, located near nature experiences. You can spot an otter couple dive into the river when having breakfast, take a walk or a run by the river or enjoy dinner made by masters of the kitchen and at the end of the day fall asleep in the arms of comfortable beds.

The hotel’s meeting wing has eight meeting spaces, which can be divided into smaller spaces or combined into a one large meeting space for up to 600 people. The main event space is Sirkkala ballroom, which overlooks river Pielisjoki. Original Sokos Hotel Kimmel also enables events for up to a 1000 people when combining all the event spaces.
The hotel has been awarded Green Key.
