Getting acquainted with the compact city center. We’ll walk to the Market Square and explore on the way the Senate Square. The Senate Square and its surroundings form a unique and cohesive example of Neoclassical architecture. We’ll also take a visit the Old Market Hall that has been serving the locals since the year 1889. 

16.30 RIB-boat safari to see the stunning archipelago and passing by some island venues 
Almost 100 kilometres of coast and over 300 islands offer an endless number of opportunities to enjoy the maritime atmosphere of Helsinki all year round. Suomenlinna Fortress island – a Unesco World Heritage site and the home of 800 Helsinkians; Vallisaari island – the home of Helsinki Biennial; and Lonna island – the compact “livingroom” of Helsinki with a sauna, restaurant and event space. We will hear more about these and pass by some charming maritime venues.

8.45 Transfer to hotel Crowne Plaza Helsinki - Hesperia for a site visit.
We’ll continue by foot via the beautiful Töölö Bay area to see Little Finlandia - a stylish wooden pavilion-like experience center in the middle of the most beautiful area of Helsinki, Musiikkitalo – concert hall and event venue, as well as the stunning Oodi Central Library. Oodi is not only Helsinki's Central Library and a living meeting place but also a venue for events, a house of reading and a diverse urban experience; it is a library of a new era, a living and functional meeting place open for all.
Our morning walk will end to a site visit at hotel Scandic Grand Central located at the Art Nouveau style central station of Helsinki.

12.00 Get together for light lunch at Salutorget
Restaurant Salutorget is a high-class restaurant located in the very heart of the city. The historical and elegant venue was built in 1830 as a merchant store, then transformed to a bank, and since 2009 it has served as one of the city’s prestigious restaurants.
