Periscope is a popular restaurant and meeting place in Tampere. The venue boasts one of Europe’s largest rooftop terraces. Periscope also has an impressive sauna area on the roof. Private saunas and jacuzzis are available round the year for private events.

Located in the heart of Tampere, Solo Sokos Hotel Torni Tampere is the tallest hotel in Finland. The hotel combined with the old locomotive depots provide excellent facilities for meetings and events. Located at the top, on the 25th floor, the Moro Sky Bar with its roof terrace is a popular meeting place.

20.00 Dinner at Sauna Restaurant Kuuma, followed by the possibility to experince the Finnish sauna in an urban environment
Kuuma is a public sauna but also an idyllic restaurant, right in the heart of the city by the lake. Kuuma’s food philosophy is based on pure Nordic tastes.

If you want to have a sauna after dinner, take your bathing suit with you. Kuuma will provide you with towels.
As an option, there is an opportunity to visit G Livelab - a new kind of live music experience built on quality programming, state-of-the-art audio facilities and modern design. The venue is situated in a historical red brick building in the city center.

Tampere Hall offers versatile facilities for meetings and events. The Main Auditorium accommodates up to 2000 people. The venue also provides a home for the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra and the world’s only Moomin Museum. The Courtyard by Marriott Tampere City is located next to Tampere Hall. 

10.15 Site inspection of Tuulensuu Palace
Tuulensuu Palace, completed in 1929, has been restored with great respect for the old. The venue does not need much decoration, because the premises themselves are exceptionally beautiful!  
Events Tampere has exclusive right to organize events at the magnificent Tuulensuu Palace. 

10.45 Transfer to Mänttä – the Little Odd Art Town  

12.00 Site inspection in Hotel & Restaurant Rapukartano
Rapukartano is an idyllic and cozy venue, surrounded by beautiful countryside and lakes. Most ingredients on the menu are locally sourced.

Lunch in the nature at the Bear’s Den luxury “kota”. Pine dining by rakovalkeat.fi offers local and seasonal food cooked in the campfire by a private chef. 

14.30 Transfer to Serlachius Museums in Mänttä  
Serlachius, the captivating destination for art, architecture, history, cuisine, and sauna experiences, delights all senses. It is a sustainable cultural attraction amid stunning Finnish lakeside nature. The story of Serlachius dates back 150 years to the inception of Finnish forest industry and its renowned paper magnates the Serlachiuses, who built a thriving community and business from scratch. 

Taste of a drama tour “Working for a Company”, stunning art in the exhibitions and art workshops.

Afternoon coffee and tea

Experience the Finnish sauna, ice swimming and an energizing winter walk with woolen socks. Remember to bring your swim suits.

Serlachius Art Sauna was recognized as the Travel Innovation of the year 2022 in Finland.
