New luxury hotel soon to open in Helsinki

A new player will join Helsinki's high-end hotel scene when The Hotel Maria opens in December 2023 in the historical center of Helsinki. The hotel will offer 117 luxury rooms including 38 suites, a restaurant and lavish spa experience.
With a long cultural history, the four historic buildings, now protected by The Finnish Heritage Agency, tell many tales of days gone by. Much of the original details of these buildings have been carefully preserved and are proudly honored and enhanced throughout the hotel.

The spectacular Maria Ballroom can host up to 80 for seated dining or 100 for cocktail style events. For a conference style event there is room for 84 in theatre format. Lit with a symphony of art deco chandeliers, mirrored walls and ceilings, and original statement columns connecting the impressive venue to its historical past, it is reminiscent of a modern Versailles.
