Solo Sokos Hotel Pier 4 has just opened in the heart of Helsinki. Set in the stunning backdrop of Helsinki's central Katajanokka district, the impressive wooden structure of the hotel brings nature into every space, with the architecture, soundscape, and proximity to the sea creating a multisensory experience.

All 164 rooms are equipped with high-quality materials and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer views of the sea, charming cityscapes of Katajanokka, or the courtyard's natural area. The hotel boasts facilities for meetings and events, a comprehensive wellness and fitness area, and a sauna. 

It is also possible to book the whole Solo Sokos Hotel Pier 4 for private use. 

The Harbore Restaurant features a menu focused on Finnish flavors and seating for 190 guests, including a private chef's table for seven. The food philosophy emphasizes the use of local and northern ingredients, with an impressive 85% of the produce being domestically sourced. There is also a terrace with a seaview on the rooftop of the building. 

The largest event space is the Itämeri Ballroom on the ground floor. It can accommodate events for 272 people. The ballroom can also be divided into three sections. This versatility makes it equally suitable for meetings and banquets. In addition, the hotel has two separate, adaptable meeting rooms for 18-40 people. 

The hotel's commitment to sustainability extends to its goal of becoming Finland's most climate-responsible hotel, with design and operations focused on reducing the building's lifetime climate impact through material selection, recycling, minimizing waste, and using renewable energy. Additionally, the wooden structure of the building is projected to have a minimum lifespan of 100 years.
