The Terwa
The Terwa, Nordic Hideaway, is located in the heart of the Kanta-Häme uplands, only an hour's drive from Helsinki Airport, surrounded by pristine lakes, forests and protected wilderness areas. The Terwa is situated on a secluded 10-hectare private peninsula on the shores of Lake Kaartjärvi. The area has been inhabited since 500 BC, with a manor tradition dating back to the 17th century. Silence, privacy and exclusivity define the experience. Nearby Liesjärvi National Park and Komio Nature Reserve represent some of Southern Finland's most valued natural landscapes.
