Monday, January 13, 2025 - Welcome to the happiest country in the world

Individual arrivals with Finnair

Meet your local hosts at Helsinki Airport. Meeting point: Arrivals Hall (first floor), Helsinki Airport 
Coffee and snacks for early arrivals

Transfer to Helsinki city centre

Check-in at Scandic Grand Central Helsinki 
Scandic Grand Central Helsinki offers first-class experiences in the best location in the centre of Helsinki. The hotel is located in a stunning historic building that used to be the headquarters of the Finnish Railways.

18.00 Lobby call and transfer to The Hotel Maria for site visit and pre-dinner drinks
The exquisite and luxurious hotel, opened in December 2023 is in one of the city’s most prestigious addresses.

19.30 Transfer to dinner at the restaurant Nokka 
The restaurant is one of Helsinki’s high-class restaurants and a pioneer of wild and sustainable cuisine. It was honored with a Michelin Green Star in May 2024.

Tuesday, January 14 - Explore the compact city and visit some of its versatile venues and hotels

8.15 Lobby call and transfer to a site visit to Solo Sokos Hotel Pier 4 
This recently opened, 4* design hotel is a masterpiece of sustainable construction. Proximity to nature, and authentic materials create a multi-sensory, atmospheric environment where everyone feels good.

9.00 Transfer to the Clarion Hotel Helsinki
The Clarion Hotel Helsinki is an award-winning international conference and business hotel with a great location and state-of-the-art meeting and event rooms that provide excellent settings for small gatherings or large seminars of up to 900 people.

10.00 Site visit to the hotel St. George 
Hotel St. George is a full-service luxury hotel with holistic care for a healthy mind, heart, and body.

10.45 Site visit of Lapland Hotels Bulevardi
The upscale hotel brings the story straight from the North to the city: luxurious rooms with an authentic modern Lappish atmosphere.

11.45 Lunch at the restaurant Minne
The restaurant Minne invites lovers of fine food and drink to indulge in top-quality wines and delicious culinary experiences at the heart of Helsinki. The menu highlights a Nordic flavour profile with French influences, and the wine selection is one of the most extensive and diverse in the city carefully curated by Master of Wine and internationally acclaimed Champagne Expert Essi Avellan.

12.45 City sightseeing walk
See some of the iconic places in the city: Senate Square, Market Square, and The Old Market Hall. The tour ends with a visit to Oodi, Helsinki’s Central Library – a stunning building that is much more than just an awarded library. It is a library of a new era, a living and functional meeting place open for all, and one of the main landmarks of the city.

15.30 Site visit to NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa 
The stunning upper-scale hotel opened its doors in May 2024 in two historic buildings in the city center.

17.00 Back to the hotel

18.00 Lobby call and transfer to a special dinner venue

18.30 The evening will be celebrated at a coastal event venue: Villa Ivan Falin 
The venue can host private events for up to 150 persons. The unique premises have several buildings for different needs and events. The dinner will be enjoyed at the Villa, and you’ll also get an opportunity to experience a traditional Finnish sauna, so remember to take your swimwear with you. Towels are provided by the venue. If you’re bold enough, the frozen Baltic Sea is waiting for you to try the ice-swimming. 
Villa Ivan Falin seems to be far out in nature but is located only a mere 20-minute drive from the city center.

22.30 Bus transfer back to the city

Wednesday, January 15 - Meet with the local suppliers at Matka Workshop

Matka workshop Day at Messukeskus 
Matka Workshop is the largest travel industry B2B matchmaking event in Northern Europe, where you meet local suppliers and potential business partners in pre-scheduled meetings.
