Option 1: Mythical Forest – activity taster by Finland, Naturally Experiences
Ancient Finland was the land of forests and people lived in tight cooperation with the wild environment. Throughout time nature has been a matter of awe and our ancestors had a rather different relationship with its creatures – real and imaginary – compared to our modern apprehensions.
Get yourself acquainted with the court of "Tapiola", the mythical gods, goddesses, spirits and creatures of Finnish folklore. Learn about the ancient worldview of the nation that is deeply entwined with Nordic nature.
Easy route with some uneven terrain and narrow forest paths. Weather-appropriate outdoor clothing is recommended.

We begin with a scenic 15-minute hike (about 800m) to a renowned 20m vertical cliff, one of Finland's most famous outdoor climbing spots. Here, you'll gear up with a harness and helmet and learn the basics of rope descent. Don't worry, our expert climbing instructor will ensure your safety every step of the way, while you take charge of the adventure. This activity is perfect for both beginners and climbing enthusiasts.

14.30–16.00 The Finnish Sauna experience
Before heading back to the city, it’s time to experience a true Finnish sauna – an essential part of our culture and one of the key elements of our happiness. At Solvalla’s lakeside sauna, we will enjoy a traditional sauna experience along with local refreshments. You can also take a refreshing dip in the lake, as is customary after a sauna.
If you prefer to skip the sauna, you can simply relax or explore Haltia’s outdoor exhibition located next to the saunas.
